Types of pests we can remove

Ant Extermination

Ants are very adaptable to their surroundings and can nest almost anywhere with roughly 300,000 to 500,000 in a colony which can relocate quickly if threatened. Workers can live up to 7 years and Queens up to 15 years. Once a food source is found they leave a trail for other ants to follow.

Bee Removal

Bee colonies are made up of three types: the queen bee, infertile female workers and male drones. They are hairy mainly for pollen collection. When they locate near people and buildings they can become a threat both medically and structurally. Honey bees are not protected legally in the UK.

Cockroach Pest Control

Cockroaches release unpleasant odours and may also produce sound. They are hardy insects and nocturnal by nature so if you see any during the day it could signify a large infestation. They can reproduce very quickly and remain active all year round. Controlling these insects should be done professionally because they can resist most over the counter products and are experts at hiding their eggs and themselves.

Get rid of Dust Mites

Not to be confused with Bed Bugs which are parasites they are very minute spiders that like to gorge themselves on skin cells and your bed is a great source of food. Not visible to the eye they can cause major allergic reactions for Asthma and Eczema sufferers.

Flea Control Treatment

Fleas are covered in tiny spines with sharp mouthparts so this parasite can draw blood from a host. Their eggs tend to hatch within 2 days. Flea muck looks similar to coarse ground black pepper and might be found in pet beds, carpets, rugs and other areas where the animal host rests. Fleas can jump up to 8 inches up in the air and more than a foot horizontally.

Fly Pest Control

With so many different varieties of flies in the UK, accurate identification is essential for successful fly control. They can cause diseases in humans and animals like Salmonella, Staphylococcus, E.Coli and Shigella. They can spread diseases rapidly because they move quickly from rotting food and rubbish to uncovered human foods and utensils.

Mouse Pest Control

Mole Pest Control

Bird Control

Their faeces is a health and safety issue because it can spread human diseases such as pseudotuberculosis, psittacosis and salmonellosis. Their faeces can also cause slip hazards to walkways and ledges where routine maintenance access is required.

Rat Removal

Rats cause problems similar to mice where they can gnaw through cables and carry harmful diseases such as Weils Disease or Leptospirosis. They live close to their food source so if you’ve seen one you can guarantee there will be many more close by. If you don’t know how to control these creatures properly your home could be left with a foul-smelling stench of rotten corpses so best to leave removal to the professionals.

Wasp Nest Removal

Wasps build their nests, unlike bees which secrete a waxy substance. Apart from being a nuisance, they can be harmful to adults and children with their powerful sting. They start to build their nests in Spring after the Queen has come out of hibernation and are usually located in hard to reach areas such as lofts, wall cavities and underground. Their nests will last until Autumn.

Squirrel Removal

In Britain, we have the red and grey squirrel, with grey being the most common. They like to nest in lofts using anything they can find, like loft insulation, to create their home. They are pretty heavy footed for a rodent so the noise factor can be a nuisance but more worryingly they can chew through electrical cabling causing a potential fire hazard. In the garden, they can cause damage to lawns and strip trees of their bark, often causing them to die.
